When we arrived in New York, we got straight in to a taxi and whizzed over to Manhattan Island where Jo and Alex, our hosts, live. This shot is the view from their balcony - they're on the 19th floor of a very nice apartment block, but at Midnight on Friday 21st October when we arrived the view was very strange. I think it was raining too!
